Cleeve Hill Camp Hill-fort, Cleeve, Somerset

Cleeve Hill Camp hillfort is a probable Iron Age sub-oval univallate enclosure of approximately 3/4 of an acre (1/3 of a hectare). The original inturned entrance is on the Eastern side of the ramparts, which reach around 5 feet (1.5 metres) at their tallest. There appears to be a ‘forecourt’ outwork extending out from the North rampart.
