Chalbury Camp Hillfort, Dorset.
Chalbury Camp hillfort (also Chalbury Hill) is an early Iron Age enclosure with Late Bronze Age origins. It encloses approx 8.5 acres (3.4 hectares) and the original entrance is in the South East rampart. There is evidence for extensive occupation which may well have extended into the Roman period.
