The remains of a large hillfort once defended by a triple line of ramparts. A single rampart survives. The pin of a brooch and five skeletons were found. Material consisting of flint potsherds and bone from an excavation by Mrs.F de M Vatcher at Grovely Castle is in Salisbury Museum.
