Beacon Hill Hillfort, Hampshire

Beacon Hill hillfort is a large, well defined univallate Iron Age enclosure of some 9.8 acres (4 hectares). The original entrance is in the Southern rampart, flanked by parallel banks within hornworks. A large number of circular features are apparent in the 2008 GE tileset (see above).
