Bevisbury Hillfort, Hampshire

Bevisbury hillfort is a probable univalate Iron Age enclosure of around 3.75 acres (1.5 hectares), oval in shape, but has suffered badly from quarrying. It is also bisected by a Roman road. This may have been done as a statement of control, or it may have just been in the bloody way.
