Chilcombe Hill hillfort is a univallate Iron Age enclosure of approx. 20.33 acres (8.226 hectares), shaped a somewhat like a squished pear. Significant agricultural erosion has occured over the years. An unpublished RCHME survey suggests the presence of at least nine roundhouses.
