Quarley Hill, Hampshire

Quarley Hill hillfort is a pear-shaped Iron Age univallate enclosure of approx 8.8 acres (3.6 hectares). The entrances in the South West and North East ramparts appear to be original. The fort was built over an extensive Bronze Age field system.
