Wain’s Hill Hillfort, Somerset
Wain’s Hill hillfort encloses around 6 acres (2.5 hectares). The enclosure has been formed by the large rampart on the East cutting off a natural promontory. It stand around five feet at its tallest point. The North end displays evidence of drystone walling. The interior contains three pillow mounds (rabbit warrens) of a probably Medieval date.
