Yarnbury Castle, Wiltshire
Multivallate hillfort enclosing 28.5 acres. Main entrances on the east and west sides. Dated to 100BC with a small internal enclosure dated to 300BC. Excavated in June 1932 when pottery & inhumations were found. Surveyed by the RCHME in 1986 which revealed the remains of at least 120 circular structures and associated pits within the hillfort defences. At least four boxes of finds are in Salisbury Museum.
